The office fit-out for the Entercom Denver Radio posed and interesting problem: how

does one occupy an office that functions on two different floors?

The solution came through the manipulation of the figure-ground as solid and void elements.

The void, carved into the program (solid) of the radio station, became the organizing element

for the office. Live performances, office meetings, casual gatherings, and circulation between

offices andfloors happen through the void, activating the space and its occupants.
